if you're a fan of the graphic novel, i think you'll really appreciate it. it was very true to the comic, even going so far as to use the original panels as storyboards. since frank miller was involved as a producer, it's not entirely shocking, but still great to see.

but yes, much truer to the comic than to history. i don't think it went completely left field of the recorded historical events, but it definitely was different.
