More cards in a strategy only offers more options, it doesn't make the parley last significantly longer, unless having the AI actually score a few dialogue points for itself is significantly affecting the fun of the game. :P

The point of this change is to make sure that the NPC can play the game too. Additionally, players won't have 1 or 2 choices only anymore, now they will have many choices, many of which may not be good ones.
