All healers will be High Elfs - Silky Venom ************* (Jerrith)

Actually, as someone who will likely play a high elf cleric at some point, I'm concerned that the humans may be more optimal. I don't really find int worth the investment as a healer, I'd rather spend those points elsewhere. In particular, Con with it's bonuses to resists and extra HP is really appealing to me. As a human on level up I can end up with 6 points on wis, 6 points on vit, 5 on Con and 1 point each on the other three. As a high elf, I can end up with 8 on wis, 5 on Vit, 3 on Con, 2 on Int, and 1 on each of the other two. For those counting, that's 17 in the stats I want for the human, but only 16 in the stats I want for the high elf... Of course I have one more point (13 vs 12) in my main two attributes, but, it's hard to say if it's worth the cost of having 2 less in my 3rd.

In the end, I think things are close enough that both are viable choices even for a min/max gamer.
